Arnold Schwarzenegger to Write 'Total Recall' Autobiography

Arnold Schwarzenegger to Write 'Total Recall' Autobiography

Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to come clean about his life. The former governor and international action superstar has signed on to write an autobiography about his life -- from his childhood in Austria to his separation from his wife of more than 25 years, Maria Shriver.

But those waiting for scintillating personal details about Schwarzenegger's alleged infidelities will be sorely disappointed.

"This book will not be a tell-all," a source tells People about the memoir, which is tentatively titled Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story

"Nobody has a life story even close to his. Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time," adds Jonathan Karp of publisher Simon & Schuster.

Schwarzenegger, 64, will start the book while working on his upcoming film project, The Expendables 2, with fellow action legend, Sylvester Stallone.  Apparently he had planned to tell his story for a while but was waiting for the right time.

"He has been keeping notes and working on the book for over a year," Schwarzenegger's spokesman Adam Mendelsohn says. "He didn't want to write his autobiography while he was governor."
